About Your Privacy
We @ Genetic Computers want you to Know that we make Your Privacy a Top Priority.
Every system we take in is Protected by our Corporate Firewall.
Essentially what that means is, A Firewall Blocks all unwanted Intrusion. So that anyone trying to Gain Access to Our Network, and your Individual Computer, will be Blocked with Every single Attempt.
Please believe that we Never Access Data on a customer's device except in Limited Circumstances, and Only to the extent necessary to Perform the Service, such as when you Ask Us to Recover your Data. Otherwise Most often we are Busy Running Commands, Updates and Utilities that Enable us to Restore your System back to its Full Capacity. When your information is still on a device that you Trade In or give to us for Recycling, know that it's Protected until it is Wiped for Disposal.

There are also ways You can Safeguard your Data, too! If possible, we Strongly Suggest that you Back Up your Data and important files Prior to bringing your system or device in for Service. Safeguarding your Information by Backing Up or Removing Sensitive Data from your system will give you Peace of Mind that your information is Secure. This can be done by Simply Transferring your Personal/Private Data to an External Hard Drive or even to a Flash Drive. If you should need More Help in this regard please Feel Free to Contact Us and we will gladly Walk You through The Process via a Remote Session. Below we have embedded a Video for your Information on "How To Back Up your Data to an External Hard Drive." Please watch the Tutorial for detailed instruction on how to do so.  And More information on the subject can easily be looked up on-line as well.  It is a really Good Idea to Familiarize yourself with this Process so that you can Back Up Important Data as it Comes, before any Technical Issues arise in your System. This way in the Unfortunate Event that your System is inoperable, your Data will be Safe. We Strongly Recommend, "The 3-2-1 Backup Strategy." 3 - Copies of Your Data Total. 2 - Copies of your Data Onsite, but on Different Devices (ie; External, DVD or Flash drive) and 1 - Copy Off-Site (ie; the Cloud, or your office, mothers house etc...).
And to be even more thorough (or paranoid ;) store one in a Fire/water proof Safe. This would be a Lifesaver if say for example, your precious Family Photos or Tax Returns were suddenly inaccessible or destroyed. We cannot tell you How Many Times we are asked to Recover Data from a Corrupted System. Data Recovery can be a Costly, Time Consuming, and sometimes Ineffectual Process. So take a few minutes Today, and safely Store your Data, doing this can literally Save You Priceless Memories and hundreds to thousands of
dollars, and stress, in the future.
We Know that you are Trusting Us with your Most Important Information, and we are
Thankful and Committed to Honoring that Trust.
