Ensuring the health and safety of our customers and our employees remains our top priority. We continue to focus on providing essential customer services, and we want to address the most common questions that many of you have right now.

FAQ – How We’re Handling Things During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Are you providing services right now?
Yes, Absolutely! Computer Sales & Services have been deemed Essential by State Government. If you need any help or service, please call us @ (518) 464-8040 or fill out the contact form on our contact page via e-mail..
What hours and days are you working?
• Our Normal Business Hours
• 10am to 6pm Monday through Friday
• Closed Saturday and Sunday (& most Holidays)

Is it safe to come in to your office?
The safety of our employees and our customers is definitely our highest priority, and diligence will be of paramount importance during these trying and to say the least difficult times. We are paying close attention to Updates from the CDC, the World Health Organization,and local health officials. We have also been proactively implementing internal procedures and protocols to ensure the health and well-being of our employees and customers.
Such as;
• We are following strict CDC and health department guidelines. As such, we require all service technicians to be equipped with the following personal protective equipment while you are in our business:
o Masks
o Gloves
o All service technicians are following the best practices for Prevention of Viral Transmission:
o Frequent Hand Washing!!
o No personal contact, including handshakes
o No passing of any object without it being sanitized or handled with gloves
o We’re practicing social distancing while in our office.
o We require Customers to Wear A Mask before entering our office.
o We require all customers to use our hand sanitizer before handling our check in clip board.
o We wipe down and sanitize all credit card terminals, pens and counters, including door handles after every customer transaction! We even Lysol the chairs in our reception area in-between use! (Seriously;)
o We're trying to minimize how many people are in our office at one time. Asking people to please call ahead to schedule a drop off or pick up time for their systems.
o Every new system is wiped down and sanitized upon check in, and we're also asking people to wipe down their devices before bringing them in, as an extra precautionary measure, and as a courtesy to us!
o If an employee is experiencing symptoms such as shortness of breath, coughing, and fever, we are mandating they stay home for 14 days, or seek medical attention consistent with CDC and WHO guidelines. Should there be concerns about any employee, please contact us.
o For the safety of our employees and customers, our Customer Relations team may check with you beforehand to confirm that no occupants at a customer’s residence or business is experiencing any symptoms and re-confirm before we schedule an on-site service.
o We will postpone and/or cancel a live service if we encounter any situations where symptoms such as shortness of breath, coughing, fever or suspected illness are present.
o Unfortunately, as of The 1st of this year (2021) We have Elected to Discontinue On-Site services into peoples homes. Until further notice and the spread of the virus has calmed down. However, we do still provide on-site IT Support to local businesses. And of course Remote Sessions are always available.
o Curb side drop off & pick up is another option for those who are still concerned about coming inside our office. Inquire Within.
o Know that we consider Genetic our home away from home and as such we keep our
office Extremely Clean and Sanitized! We also Open Windows to let Fresh Air
circulate periodically throughout the day, which is highly recommended by health organizations.
